Mark attended Wright State University majoring in computer science.  In 1983 he accepted a position with Digital Equipment Corporation where he started his career as a computer engineer. Mark relocated to Colorado in 1986 where, except for a two year assignment in Florida, has lived ever since. Mark worked for multiple companies as an engineer to include MCI in Colorado Springs.

After many years as an Engineer, Mark changed careers and join law enforcement with the El Paso County Sheriff’s office. He became a Detective specializing in computer crimes and forensics. After 17 years in law enforcement, 10 years as a Detective, Mark retired to focus on his consulting firm; Rocky Mountain Computer Forensics.

Mark provides consulting nationally on cellular technology, Call Detail Records (cell phone records) and computer/cell phone forensics. He is also an instructor at the Pikes Peak Community College Regional Law Enforcement Academy.  He spends much of his free time with his cattle on a large ranch in Eastern Colorado.
